Stewart M. Leviss
Partner
Stewart Leviss, a partner in the firm, is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney and has twice been named by his peers in the legal community as one of New Jersey's "Superlawyers." Stewart has achieved successful results for his clients in the state and federal courts. His practice involves a wide variety of claims including professional malpractice, product defect and personal injury lawsuits, business torts and commercial litigation, employment litigation including sexual harassment and discrimination claims, as well as actions brought in the chancery courts.
Having both prosecuted and defended lawsuits in the trial courts gives Stewart a unique perspective and ability to develop an effective strategy for his clients, whether through litigation or other means for dispute resolution.
Stewart is a graduate of the Northfield Mount Hermon School and Tufts University (B.A. 1989). He received his J.D. from the Washington College of Law, American University in 1992, where he was a senior staff member of the Administrative Law Journal and served as a Judicial Intern with the Honorable Richard A. Levie of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He is a former Chairman of the District VB Ethics Committee of the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics and a current member of the District V Fee Arbitration Committee.
